Jonathan Rosham jr@cygnetcapital.com.au - Managing Director
Jonathan is co-founder and the Managing Director of Cygnet Capital.
Prior to establishing the firm, Jonathan was instrumental in establishing the Victorian division of Montagu Stockbroking. His experience at Montagu included being a member of the management team of both the West Australian and Victorian offices. Before joining Montagu, Jonathan worked as an Investment Adviser for Merrill Lynch. Prior to this he was with Porter Western (now Macquarie Bank) where he worked as a research analyst and was responsible for the financial analysis and modeling of listed companies. Jonathan has over twelve years experience in equity markets and corporate advisory, for which the most part has been spent in the sphere of Cygnet Capital's area of expertise, micro-cap companies.
Jonathan studied Commerce at the University of Western Australia majoring in Accounting and Finance, and is a Responsible Executive of the ASX. He is also a Regional Member of the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
Jonathan is based in Melbourne and works in all areas of the business.
Darien Jagger dj@cygnetcapital.com.au - Director/Head of Corporate Finance
Darien is a co-founder and Director of Cygnet Capital.
Prior to establishing the firm, Darien was a member of the Montagu Stockbrocking management team, where he was primarily responsible for formulating investment strategy for high net worth clients and a range of other corporate activity, including capital raisings, reverse takeovers and asset farm ins. Darien's time with Montagu saw him also hold the position of Senior Investment Adviser. Prior to Montagu, Darien worked with Porter Western (now Macquarie Bank) where he was responsible for company analysis and portfolio construction. Darien has over twelve years experience in both equity markets and corporate finance, where he has become a specialist in the micro to mid cap space.
Darien's focus is on clients in the resources and biotechnology sectors. His experience in corporate finance has allowed the successful structuring and listing of numerous companies involved in oil & gas, gold, nickel, iron-ore, medical advancement and health care. Darien holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and is a Responsible Executive of the ASX.
Darien manages the Perth Office and is Head of Corporate Finance.
Mark Davies md@cygnetcapital.com.au - General Manager
Mark is co-founder and the General Manager of Cygnet Capital.
Before establishing the firm Mark was instrumental in setting up the Victorian office for Montagu Stockbroking. Mark spent over eight years with Montagu where he specialized in portfolio construction and investment strategies centred on equities and derivatives in the small to medium market cap space.
Mark graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Responsible Executive of the ASX and is an Associate of the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association.
Mark is based in Melbourne and oversees the day to day running of Cygnet Capital.
Toni Mison toni@cygnetconnect.com.au - Marketing Executive, Cygnet Connect
Toni is currently on maternity leave returning in 2009.
Toni is the Marketing Executive for Cygnet Connect, the marketing and investor relations arm of Cygnet Capital.
Toni has over 8 years marketing experience, predominantly within the banking and insurance sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Toni was the State Marketing Manager for the WA division of Insurance Australia Group and has held senior roles at HBF and BankWest.
Toni has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Marketing and Finance and is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
Gemma Dale - gd@cygnetcapital.com.au - Marketing Executive, Cygnet Connect
Gemma is the new Marketing Executive for Cygnet Connect, the marketing and investor relations arm of Cygnet Capital.
Gemma has a background in sponsorship and relationship management, most recently managing the sponsorship portfolio for RugbyWA and the Western Force. Gemma brings a new set of skills to Cygnet Connect, having worked in a range of roles in Perth and regional Western Australia.
Gemma will manage the activities of Cygnet Connect whilst Toni Mison is on maternity leave and will work in partnership with Toni upon her return.

Eric is a member of the Corporate Finance team at Cygnet Capital and is based in the Perth office.
Prior to joining Cygnet, Eric worked as an analyst for Hercules Energy Pty Ltd, a Perth based resources incubator which has been responsible for the identification and acquisition of international resources and mining assets which have subsequently listed on both the Australian and international stock exchanges.
Prior to Hercules Energy, Eric was a corporate analyst for Australian biotechnology investment bank Gateway Capital Ltd, specialising in evaluating and restructuring new technologies as investment opportunities.
Eric has experience in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, seed capital raisings, Initial Public Offerings (IPO), project screening, due diligence investigations and early stage project management. He has an active interest in the biotechnology and resource sectors.
Eric graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Marketing and the Media and holds a Diploma of Financial Services with FINSIA.
Ian Yaretsky iy@cygnetcapital.com.au
Ian is an Equities Analyst with Cygnet Capital. He joined Cygnet in 2003 as a Research Analyst with experience spanning 11 years in the finance industry. He has held various investment and accounting positions with several companies and financial institutions including ANZ Bank, Telstra Super, National Australia Bank and AXA Asia Pacific. Ian graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting. Ian also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment Analysis at the Securities Institute of Australia, as well as his Professional Year with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. Ian is based in the Melbourne office.
Nicki Farley nf@cygnetcapital.com.au - Associate Director, Corporate Finance
Nicki is a member of the Corporate Finance team at Cygnet.
Prior to joining Cygnet, Nicki worked with Grange Consulting Group Pty Ltd, a Perth based corporate advisory firm where she provided advice to listed and unlisted companies in relation to corporate and securities laws, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence reviews and general commercial transactions.
Prior to Grange Consulting, Nicki worked as a solicitor with Clayton Utz in Perth and was admitted to practice in Western Australia. She graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Arts, majoring in Japanese language.
Nicki is based in the Melbourne office.
Cameron Morcher cm@cygnetcapital.com.au - Portfolio Manager, Cygnet Funds Management
Cameron is the Portfolio Manager of the Cygnet Microcap Opportunity Fund. He has extensive financial market and accounting experience gained in Melbourne, London, Toronto and New York.
Before joining Cygnet Capital, Cameron was the Portfolio Manager at London Partners, Melbourne, where his responsibilities included investment and asset allocation, research and analysis of investment markets and operations management. Prior to this, Cameron was a Senior Analyst, Investment Markets at National Australia Bank.
Cameron spent 4 years at JP Morgan Securities, London, where he was an Associate in the Equity Derivatives Group and prior to this, was an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Cameron is a Chartered Accountant, has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and has completed Level 3 of the Chartered Financial Analyst Programme.
Nick Gold ng@cygnetcapital.com.au - Investment Advisor
Nick is an Investment Adviser with Cygnet Capital. His prior experience includes 2 years with Norwich Union and 2 years with NSP Buck & Navigator.
Nick's experience at Norwich Union saw him working with the investment team reconciling large accounts. Prior to that Nick was at NSP Buck & Navigator in a team responsible for the management of the Colonial Superannuation Fund. Nick graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in both Accounting and Finance. He is based in Melbourne.
Jason Varcoe jv@cygnetcapital.com.au - Investment Advisor
Jason is an Investment Adviser with Cygnet Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Jason worked with Vanguard Investments Australia and Australian Administration Services where he gained skills in unit pricing and investment allocation. At Vanguard Investments, Jason was part of a portfolio administration team where he was responsible for the unit pricing of retail and wholesale index funds. Prior to that Jason worked as an Investment Officer with Australian Administration Services. His experience here included unit pricing analysis and the investment and redemption of funds with external fund managers.
Jason graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Finance. Following this, Jason accepted an offer from Vanguard Investments to be the first graduate to participate in their graduate program. He is based in Melbourne.
Bradley Dilkes bd@cygnetcapital.com.au - Investment Advisor
Bradley has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Western Australia, majoring in Investment Finance, Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting. Bradley provides support in the areas of investment, product research and marketing and is based in the Melbourne office.
Sherri Kramer sk@cygnetcapital.com.au - Executive Assistant
Sherri is the Executive Assistant to Darien Jagger and the Office Manager in the Perth Office. In particular, Sherri assists the Corporate Department with capital raising activities. Prior to Cygnet Capital, Sherri had over 4 years experience as an Office Manager at an accounting firm.

Louise is the Executive Assistant to Jonathan Rosham and the Office Manager in the Melbourne Office. She has over 10 years experience in administration and projects and provides trade support to our clients and the team.
