Jonathan Rosham – Managing Director

Jonathan is co-founder and the Managing Director of Cygnet Capital.

Prior to establishing the firm, Jonathan was instrumental in establishing the Victorian division of Montagu Stockbroking. His experience at Montagu included being a member of the management team of both the West Australian and Victorian offices. Before joining Montagu, Jonathan worked as an Investment Adviser for Merrill Lynch. Prior to this he was with Porter Western (now Macquarie Bank) where he worked as a research analyst and was responsible for the financial analysis and modeling of listed companies. Jonathan has over twelve years experience in equity markets and corporate advisory, for which the most part has been spent in the sphere of Cygnet Capital’s area of expertise, micro-cap companies.

Jonathan studied Commerce at the University of Western Australia majoring in Accounting and Finance, and is a Responsible Executive of the ASX. He is also a Regional Member of the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.

Jonathan is based in Melbourne and works in all areas of the business.

Darien Jagger – Executive Director / Head of Corporate Finance

Darien is a co-founder and Director of Cygnet Capital.

Prior to establishing the firm, Darien was a member of the Montagu Stockbrocking management team, where he was primarily responsible for formulating investment strategy for high net worth clients and a range of other corporate activity, including capital raisings, reverse takeovers and asset farm ins. Darien’s time with Montagu saw him also hold the position of Senior Investment Adviser. Prior to Montagu, Darien worked with Porter Western (now Macquarie Bank) where he was responsible for company analysis and portfolio construction. Darien has over twelve years experience in both equity markets and corporate finance, where he has become a specialist in the micro to mid cap space.

Darien’s focus is on clients in the resources and biotechnology sectors. His experience in corporate finance has allowed the successful structuring and listing of numerous companies involved in oil & gas, gold, nickel, iron-ore, medical advancement and health care. Darien holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and is a Responsible Executive of the ASX.

Darien manages the Perth Office and is Head of Corporate Finance.

Mark Davies – General Manager

Mark is co-founder and the General Manager of Cygnet Capital.

Before establishing the firm Mark was instrumental in setting up the Victorian office for Montagu Stockbroking. Mark spent over eight years with Montagu where he specialized in portfolio construction and investment strategies centred on equities and derivatives in the small to medium market cap space.

Mark graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Responsible Executive of the ASX and is an Associate of the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association. Mark is based in Melbourne and oversees the day to day running of Cygnet Capital.

Nick Gold – Investment Advisor

Nick is an Investment Adviser with Cygnet Capital. His prior experience includes 2 years with Norwich Union and 2 years with NSP Buck & Navigator.

Nick’s experience at Norwich Union saw him working with the investment team reconciling large accounts. Prior to that Nick was at NSP Buck & Navigator in a team responsible for the management of the Colonial Superannuation Fund. Nick graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in both Accounting and Finance. He is based in Melbourne.

Bradley Dilkes – Investment Advisor

Bradley has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Western Australia, majoring in Investment Finance, Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting. Bradley provides support in the areas of investment, product research and marketing and is based in the Melbourne office.

Ian Yaretsky – Equities Analyst

Ian is an Equities Analyst with Cygnet Capital. He joined Cygnet in 2003 as a Research Analyst with experience spanning 11 years in the finance industry. He has held various investment and accounting positions with several companies and financial institutions including ANZ Bank, Telstra Super, National Australia Bank and AXA Asia Pacific.

Ian graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting. Ian also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment Analysis at the Securities Institute of Australia, as well as his Professional Year with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. Ian is based in the Melbourne office.

Eric de Mori – Associate Director

Eric is the Associate Director of corporate finance for Cygnet Capital and is based in the Perth office. Eric has over 5 years investment banking and analyst experience covering a wide range of sectors (specialising in resources and biotechnology), working with international and Australian based opportunities.

Eric is focussed on the microcap capital markets and has specialist skills in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, capital raisings, Initial Public Offerings, backdoor listings, project screening, due diligence investigations, early stage project management and extensive knowledge of Corporations law and ASX listing rules. Eric is currently a Non Executive Director of Incitive Ltd (ASX code “ICV”), Newera Uranium Ltd (ASX code “NRU”) and silver miner Alcyone Resources Ltd (ASX code “AYN”).

Eric graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Marketing and the Media and holds a Diploma of Financial Services (PS 146 compliance) with FINSIA.

Dan Fraser – Corporate Executive

Dan has been a member of the Corporate Finance team at Cygnet Capital since July 2008. Prior to joining Cygnet, Dan worked for Great Southern Maritime Limited, setting up the shipping hedge fund. Prior to his involvement with Great Southern Maritime he was a sales and marketing coordinator at Fortescue Metals Group Limited in Perth. In the sales and marketing capacity Dan gained experience in large scale capital raising, sales and marketing strategies, customer relations management and project management with Asia’s largest steel mills. He assisted in developing the shipping strategy at Fortescue in 2006 which transpired into converting free on board iron ore off take agreements to cost and freight iron ore off take agreements minimise risk and maximise returns for Fortescues customers and shareholders.

Sherri Kramer – Executive Assistant

Sherri is the Executive Assistant to Darien Jagger and the Office Manager in the Perth Office. In particular, Sherri assists the Corporate Department with capital raising activities.
